Mission and Values

Marathon’s mission is to develop, manufacture and commercialize life-saving therapies for patients with rare diseases.

We remain responsible and accountable to our patients, which is why we are developing and building a product pipeline around new approaches for the nearly 7,000 rare diseases that affect approximately 30 million Americans. We will continue to invest all our resources to ensure that much needed medicines are always available.

Patients first – Our "pro-patient" philosophy is infused in our culture and its impact is felt from the executive suite to the front lines. We believe patients benefit from our commitment to research and development and acquisition of products that address unmet medical needs.

Ensure access to important medicines – Marathon is dedicated to keeping its products available for the patients who rely on them, which is why our Patient Support Program ensures eligible patients have access to financial aid reimbursement resources should they need them.
